xJonQx
In HD Pro 2017, i'm using Shapes>Boxes>Closed for ducting. How can I change the color in plan view so they stand out from the white background? Thanks.
solver
You can't. I would choose another type of object, a slab or soffit, for example. You need something with a Fill property.
xJonQx
Eric, Thanks for the rapid help as always! The soffit wound up working better in other ways too, since the box shape didn't snap properly to other surfaces. Followup question - how do I get a soffit to be outlined with a solid line in plan view? Thanks, Jon
solver
Look at the Layer Display Settings.
xJonQx
Thanks... Just an update. The snapping issue appears to be with things snapping to Joists, not the box shape.
xJonQx
Is there any way to get soffits which are within 3" of each other to not auto-extend and connect to each other?
solver
Soffits are cabinets. You may be able to turn off "create automatic fillers" in cabinet defaults. This will effect all cabinets in the plan, not just soffits.
