studiostarrs Posted September 28, 2016 Share Posted September 28, 2016 HELP!I need two soffits on the ceiling which help define the space.As soon as I connect them, they create a "drop-down" ceiling which I don't want.I want it too look just like this--only connected.What am I doing wrong? Knowing what software you are using is often key to providing a suggestion. Soffits don't create things. Could you post a picture showing what is happening. -------------- It helps if we know what title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2014, 2015 etc) you are using. DavidJPotter Posted September 28, 2016 Share Posted September 28, 2016 In older versions the way one would "face" the soffit objects can cause them to fill in one to the other but I do not think that is now the case but you might try rotating the soffits in plan view 180 degrees to see if that helps at all. I agree with Eric that we need a copy of the plan or at least a picture of the anomaly so we can better understand what actually is happening.
