HDbyJustin
I wanted a quick, down and dirty take off on a remodel, my personal home. I am looking at re-roofing the house and using an exposed metal fastener roof. After I have built the roof, it just shows a number, 802. If that were the quantity of panels, that would cost me almost 30 grand in materials. So I know that can't be the number of panels. Just curious if anyone has run in to this. DavidJPotter
I believe you will find that "802" is actually 802 Square Feet which you can divide by the SF of the panels to obtain an estimate of how many panels. It is programmed to measure in liner feet for framing and trims and square feet for things like roofing, it is fully explained in your Reference Manual, take a look. HDbyJustin
Thanks, I assumed that was correct. I forget that reference manual has a lot of information in it. I can usually figure out what I need. I just forget to check there.
