jabamo
I am just starting out with Home Designer Pro after using a different design program for several years and I am having trouble breaking old habits. To manipulate an object, say for example a rake that is lying on the ground but I want to place it vertically on a wall, how do I rotate the item's pitch? I have right-clicked on the object and tried every menu item but all I succeed in doing is rotating it horizontally.
DCortes
You would right click on it and select Open Symbol then go change the Rotation Axis lets say 45 degrees and then click on Rotate+. That's how I do it
DCortes
I stand corrected I do not see that option in HD Pro 2015 Sorry on in Chief Architect X7
jabamo
Thanks anyway Dave. I'm sure there must be a way to do this.
solver
Not within Home Designer. If the item was created in SketchUp, for example, you will need to change the orientation there, then import into the program.
