ICF block size change not reflected in material list count

I have already completed my design, but upon selecting an ICF vendor, I need to update the default ICF block dimensions.

I created this project in Home Designer Pro 2024.  I also have 2021 Pro and 2017 Architectural available

I edited each wall to update the Component "Insulating Foam Board" dimensions to reflect the current product. 12" height vs 16" default. After updating all walls, I created a new material master list and noted that the item count has remained unchanged after the dimensions were updated. I expect the count to increase due to the smaller sqft coverage of each ICF block, but no change has occurred in the material calculation. I double-checked a few walls by manually calculating their area and found that the ICF block count still uses the original default dimensions.

In the image below I have chosen to compare the EPDM foundation wrap's area to the ICF count

146.51 sqft / 4sqft = 36.6275 ~37 blocks

The software still displays 27 blocks for this wall. This is after calculating materials, post-component dimension update.

What recommendations do you have to get the system to correctly calculate materials in this situation?

F12  Maybe?

As simple as that sounds, it's a reasonable solution I did not try.  Unfortunately, it didn't work, but I appreciate your reply!

I have also saved, regenerated the material list, saved, closed the application, opened and then regenerated the material list again to no avail.

Typical isn't it.

Although, I usually draw a bit of the new wall (or whatever) to see if its done the mods i'd made- thus checking the rebuild is correct;

Sometimes ive experienced no changes for the new changes - if you get me?

Also is the F12 key relevant, does it do what its setup to do?

I also have tried it longhand - via the menu -

Build\Floor\Rebuild Walls\Floors\Ceilings\

For what its worth - These have been my experiences.

Jeff.
