My program (HDPro 2023) is freezing up after opening any plan.

I can open a plan in my HDPro 2023 program; but after the plan is opened any other cursor selection just spins and spins to the point where I have to 'end task' through task manager to escape in order to try different approaches to get beyond this opening problem.  I tried to open a plan in an earlier version (HDPro 2021) with the same problem occurring. I am wondering if I have inadvertently corrupted the program in some way; or maybe a computer issue although everything seems to work elsewhere.

Any fixes or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Right now, I am dead in the water.
