Casey4965
I am trying to do shiplap on a wall in a "V" pattern. I have done one wall and it worked perfectly. On another wall it will not work. I put a break in the wall to make it into two sections in both scenarios. I am sure it is something simple. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The wall in question is the plan east wall in the half bath. Mitcheltree Bath and Laundry.plan
Solution scottharris Posted February 20 Solution Share Posted February 20 Looks like you are on the right track – making copies of the materials and changing the angle. One additional step, is to adjust the offset of the material – I measured -2 3/8” and that worked (be sure to make a copy of the material so your other wall does not change). See the attached screen grabs.
Casey4965
Thanks Scott. Worked like a charm.
Casey4965
I have updated all the views and even replaced a few, but the seam is not lining up. Elevation view works. Camera view does not.
scottharris
Casey, can you repost your updated plan. I suspect that perhaps you did not make a copy of the material and it's changing in places you don't want.
Casey4965
Scott, Tech support said that I needed to do the same with the texture to get it to line up, but I must be doing something wrong. I really appreciate you taking the time to look at this. I am fairly new to the software, but have learned a lot in the past couple of months.
