  1. I have been told by tech support that a gaming laptop is the best to use with the software. Thoughts: Dell G16 7630 Gaming Laptop - 16-inch (2560 x 1600) QHD+ 165Hz 3ms Display, Intel Core i9-13900HX, 16GB DDR5 RAM, 1TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 8GB GDDR6, Windows 11 Home
  2. I am looking to purchase a laptop dedicated to running Home Designer Pro 2024. My current laptop is a beast, but bogs down when running the software. It is built for Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Does anyone have any recommendations on a laptop? Thanks in advance. Casey The recommended specs for running Home Designer Pro are: PC 32 GB of RAM 1 TB SSD Intel i9 / AMD Ryzen 9 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 / AMD Radeon RX 7900 Laptops: Minimum 16" screen
  3. I use Home Designer Pro to show customers representations of a finished space. Most of what I do is a single space, such as a bathroom, kitchen or basement and this is all I measure. In the project I am working on now, the customer wants to remodel their basement. With basements, there is always a floor above, and hence my first question. 1. How do you cut out the ceiling for the stairs? Or, is there a better way? 2. When I place an electrical panel on a wall, it will not recess into the wall. Is there a way of doing this? Scott, I got it. I missed one of the offset alignments. I appreciate your help.

Scott, Tech support said that I needed to do the same with the texture to get it to line up, but I must be doing something wrong. I really appreciate you taking the time to look at this. I am fairly new to the software, but have learned a lot in the past couple of months. Mitcheltree Bath and Laundry.zip

I have updated all the views and even replaced a few, but the seam is not lining up. Elevation view works. Camera view does not.

Thanks Scott. Worked like a charm.

I am trying to do shiplap on a wall in a "V" pattern. I have done one wall and it worked perfectly. On another wall it will not work. I put a break in the wall to make it into two sections in both scenarios. I am sure it is something simple. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The wall in question is the plan east wall in the half bath. Mitcheltree Bath and Laundry.plan
  9. I am just wondering if anyone can share or point me in the right direction in finding an apron / farm sink for Home Designer Pro 2024? I hope this is the right place to ask this question. Thank you
  10. Eric, I did that same thing multiple times, and it did not work. Now I did one more time and it did. I am not sure what happened but thanks so much. I also did the custom backsplash and it worked perfectly. Thanks again. Casey
  11. This is where I have dragged it to. See attached.
  12. Thanks Eric. I have tried this multiple times and the rooms will not divide. I have made the pony wall on the left with no room definition, as well as the right and then both and still no separation.
  13. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have not had this issues before. 1. I need tile to wrap around a full height wall just above the pony wall that dies into it. 2. The room divider will not separate the shower from the main bath. I have included the plan file and two snippets. Thank you in advance for all advice. And I hope I have posted this correctly, with enough information. Casey Skelton Home Designer Pro 2024 Burnside Master Bath.plan
  14. Thanks Houska. I have been away for a few weeks.
