KParenteau Posted June 5, 2023 Share Posted June 5, 2023 When I add a deck onto an area of the design, I am getting a crazy soffit issue where it appears to free float several inches directly above the deck and on the deck roof itself. I am not sure how to fix this as the other areas/decks do not have this issue. I have tried rebuilding the roof but that doesn't resolve the problem. Any suggestions would be fantastic! Solution Rookie65 Posted June 5, 2023 Solution Share Posted June 5, 2023 Without seeing the plan, I am just guessing. See if you have a ceiling surface over the deck. Sometimes when a deck is made in Pro 2024, the room will be marked as "unspecified." Check to see that it is a room type of a deck and your structure. I had specified the space as a deck before, but when I moved a couple things around, something got broken. I had to change it to something else, then back to a deck and then it worked.
