DavidJPotter Posted May 31, 2023 Share Posted May 31, 2023 Go to "Edit - Default Settings - Dormer" and set the settings to assist your outcome. The dormer in your photo cannot be done in Architectural, I believe you would have to upgrade to Pro and learn its manual roof tools. Sorry. DJP The reason I said what I said is due to the shed dormer's ridge and the main house ridge are colinear. The dormer tool can only place a dormer within the perimeter of a parent-containing roof plane, I suppose you could get close but not duplicate the dormer in your photo in Architectural or Suite but it would have to be done carefully.
