Deck planks in opposing 45 degree angles

I am drawing a deck with a center plank that divides the deck planks in two.  Both halves of the deck planks are at mirrored 45 degrees. I have not been able to figure out how to divide the deck planking and to get the planks to go in the direction that my client wants.  Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!

I am using Home Designer Pro 2023.

Use a room divider wall to divide the deck into 2 halves.
Open the room dialog box, deck tab, for one of the halves- change the plank direction to 45°.
Open the other half,change the plank direction to 135°.
