peterl1965
I cannot delete the toe kick on base cabinets that I have created in Home Designer Architectural 2024. I go into the Cabinet specification, select the toe kick and then delete it. The graphic shows the toe kick is deleted OK, but when I close and view the cabinet in 3D, the toe kick is still there. I have tried several times with different cabinets and nothing works. The same applies for changing the toe kick dimensions, which again appear OK on the graphic but don't get applied. Can anyone help ?
DavidJPotter
Opposed to deleting it, try setting its value to zero instead. You can in Home Designer Pro and Chief Premier remove the toe kick but in Architectural you must set it to a low value (1 mm or 1/16") so it is a lot less visible. peterl1965
Hi. Thanks for your reply. I have also tried setting size to zero, reducing the size (and even increasing size) but none of these work. All show as resized ok on the tool graphic but the program does not apply the change to the actual object. When I go back to edit the object again nothing is saved and it reverts back to default toe kick dimensions. I also shutdown the application and restarted it with a blank plan and inserted a single base cabinet and tried to adjust the size but the result is the same. peterl1965
Further to my original post, I logged a ticket with Chief Architect support and they have confirmed that they can reproduce the issue and have reported it to their engineering team for resolution.
Blocca
While it looked like it was all fixed, The Toe Kick deletion failure is back again. Running Architectural V25.02
DomoBanks
Reviving this thread because I'm having the same issue. Cannot remove the toe kick for a floor-level appliance cabinet.
