Geruski
First off, please pardon the roughness of the plan I'm attaching..I'm doing this plan from pics of a house that was hit by the latest hurricane. I only have a dozen exterior dimensions and am using my construction background to build the rest based on the pics...in one week the homeowner is taking my drawings with him to florida and filling in the dimensions, then I will draw a detailed plan for them. Never thought I'd be counting floor tiles and studs to get wall dimensions, lol Also, I'm just starting with Home Designer, so I'm getting used to how the system works. I'm trying to find a way to build the following..First floor has a cathedral ceiling on the bottom of the roof rafters. The second floor has a roof that overhangs the main floor roof (this is an existing structure that is being modified and needs drawings for permitting). There is an elevator that comes to the second floor, and they simply enlarged the roof to create a square roof over the entire area...see attached photos. Thank you all in advance for any help you can provide! Sanibel 1.24.23.zip
Geruski
Sorry, I missed attaching...Red arrow on first pic shows which wall I am trying to place. It falls over the top of the cathedral ceiling on lower floor. Have attached front and rear view to help identify location. My apologies for the mixup

Setting does just what it says. Can be a bit stubborn but it usually works. Come back if you cannot get it to work and I'll look at the plan.
