TallDesign
I am trying to place two outlets on the wall, one directly above another. When I do this, the lower outlet shifts to the right and loses half the cover plate (as though it was trying to gang them). Does anyone know how to allow these two switches to co-exist (and look normal)? See the photo.
solver
Tip: See how clear my Vector View image is? As shown, I had no problem. Place 2 outlets, select one and raise it, then center it over the other. If this isn't working for you, attach a simple plan file -- 4 walls and your 2 outlets. TallDesign
The only way I was able to make it work is the bring bottom outlet out from the wall by 0.01”. Since it was no longer on the same plane, it snapped back into the correct position below the other outlet and the cover plate became whole. This is good enough for what I need, but I think it does point to a bug in the software.
