cwgrltx22
Using HD Pro, I have created a walk out basement plan that is 2 floors. Main living/2nd floor includes a Great Room with vaulted ceiling. While I am able to select room & change ceiling height, it does not display correctly in 3D. It remains 9ft no matter the ceiling height I enter. I have done another plan (Great Room with vaulted ceiling also) & was able to alter ceiling height with no issue & comparing the 2, I cannot figure out why it works in one, but not the other? I've checked default settings & cannot figure it out. Total rookie here & any help is appreciated.
cwgrltx22
Thank you Eric. I have searched many of your suggested areas & can find nothing specific to my issue. I'm sure it's something set in default, but I've tried for 2 days to figure it out. The default wall heights are grayed out when selected in wall specification/structure. I have read that when grayed out the floor above (which is attic) have differing floor heights & so I reverted to default wall & floor setting on all floors & still same problem. cwgrltx22
Thanks again Eric... When I do exactly what you did, my walls do not change height. Can you tell me when you opened my plan does it automatically choose plan style or do you choose default plan? I have tried opening this saved plan in a new plan & using default & it still won't let me do what you just did. If I click on room in 3D plan it indicates raised wall height, but walls do not raise. cwgrltx22
I just realized I sent you plan that didn't have stairs & now I'm think that might have something to do with issue. I'm attaching plan with stairs to see if you can adjust walls without issue. Layout C.plan.zip
solver
You need to raise your roof, using manual roof tools, or by turning Auto Rebuild on.
cwgrltx22
Thank you so much Eric, I knew it was probably something simple, but I couldn't figure it out. Next hurdle...terrain
