Editing List of Default Room types

I am using Home Designer Pro 2021.  I would like to edit the list of default room names to delete a few I will never use such as Basement and Crawl Space.

I went to Edit>Default Settings>Floors and Rooms>Room Types>Edit.  I can rename but cannot seem to delete.   I renames several by adding a Z to the beginning of the name--that at least put them at the very bottom of the list.   Any suggestions?  Thanks.

That's about the most you can do that I have found. Sometimes they are nice to keep and rename, say for finished or unfinished attic, etc. Just change the materials for each and that will speed up the process a little when changing room types.

*** I see you said Pro 2021 ***

Answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using.

You can help everyone by adding that info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left.

Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it.

And, turn on signature display too.

Many questions have been asked and answered. The Home Designer website is a good place to start your search.
