Setting up Arch D size Layout

Started in print settings: drawing sheet set-up: custom then made a size called "Arch-D (24" x 36") put the size in the width/height and left setting at 1" = 1"

 

All looks good when I select it as my new saved layout but, when I go to export as a PDF I get a black sheet at 24" x 36" ... select any other paper size other than my new Arch-D (24" x 36") and everything shows up ?

 

What am I missing here?

I don't think 24x36 D size paper printing ability showed up until HD Pro 2021

Rookie65 you are correct. I set it up properly in drawing sheet and layout but, the HD-Pro 2020 does not allow print/PDF generation beyond 18" x 24". Tech support confirmed.

 

Upgraded to HD Pro2021 and it worked!

ChiefWhataChuck - Can you share a template ARCH-D layout if you've already scaled the ARCH-C default border with text information? I've attached the layout I see when I change the drawing sheet setup size to ARCH-D.

NVM. There's a page on this (https://www.homedesignersoftware.com/support/article/KB-01829/resizing-a-layout-title-block-and-border.html) and it's not all that difficult.

See attached for a resized title block and border at ARCH-D size.

Thanks a ton for that layout, this was totally tripping me up as well.  One small addition I'd make is that I wanted this to be the default layout when I do New Layout so after noticing the paths listed in https://www.homedesignersoftware.com/support/article/KB-01866/resetting-template-files.html, I realized that replacing the "Profile.layout" in the templates directory gave me this Arch D layout as the default.
