paulsmyth2217
I just got started with Home Designer Pro and want to redesign a kitchen. Do I need to draw the whole house? How do I just do one room?
DavidJPotter
A room in this software is a space fully enclosed with three or more walls, when the walls that form a room are fully closed (connected to each other), then and only then can you obtain a "Room Specification Dialog" that allows you to further refine and define the specific room. Kbird1
No just draw a 30'X30' or so box with the exterior wall tools and then build your bathroom inside as needed with the interior wall tool , that way you will get ceilings etc in your bathroom and not get other weird issues. As you are new make sure to checkout the KnowledgeBase (KB) too...lots of good tutorials and answers to many of your questions ,,,including this one.... http://www.homedesignersoftware.com/support/article/KB-00917/147/Home-Designer/Rooms/How-to-Model-a-Single-Room-or-Apartment.html Add your Version and title to your forum signature then you wont need to add it with each question M.
