Vince_A
Using Home Designer Architectural, how can we design an inground pool showing concrete pool floor (200mm thick) and concrete walls (200mm thick) with contoured levels to show shallow (say, 1200mm) and deep (say, 1800mm) ends in a 3D / Cross Section view? You might create a symbol in SketchUp or another application and import, but Home Designer does not have the ability to accurately model a pool. Can the CAD object only be placed in the cross-section in 2D? Is it possible to show it in the plan with contouring to enable inclusion in new cross-sections? 2. Is there a way that the CAD object be used for volume calculation in the HD Architectural software? 3. How do we remove the background colourings in a cross section, such that we just see a black and white cross-section image as is normal for architectural drawings?
