jackrabbit
Have a landscape design where everything shows up in Plan but not everything shows up in 3D Perspective view. How do you bring a closed polyline object to the top? When I select the object and "move it to the top" it still doesn't show up. Terrain layer seems to be on top of the objects I can't see. But when I delete the terrain layer, the objects are removed in 3D view but not in Plan.
jackrabbit
Can you check out the additional info I added? I am using HD Pro 2017. Below are the three pictures I included. Thanks
DavidJPotter
A "Closed polyline is, by default not visual in 3D unless you convert it to a 3D type object or if you create it as a terrain feature, sidewalk or road. Is your missing "closed polyline" one you created yourself using the "2D Box Tools" and then made it 3D by using the "Convert Tool" or was it from the "Terrain Menu" directly? Such objects once created are on "Named Layers" in a "Display Options" dialog and thus can be "ON" only in plan view display options but NOT on in any camera type you might select. Figure out what is what and then repost back please. DJP
jackrabbit
Ok - that answered it for me. Thanks David. I had created a closed polyline and not converted it to 3D & didn't know this was not visible in camera view. All good now.
