DJAurand
I'm producing a Measured Drawing of an older Route 66 hotel for plans to renovate the property I've hand measured the hotel on graph paper and am now reproducing it in Home Designer Architect Since many of the Guest Rooms are near exact duplicates, is there a way to Copy and Paste a Whole Room or Pair of Rooms (adjoining left & right of a room) instead of manually drawing each of the 55 rooms? solver
You can copy/paste walls that create rooms, but Architectural is limited on functionality. Pro would make this much easier.
DJAurand
So I can't copy & paste whole rooms with HD Arch 2020?
solver
You cannot copy/paste rooms with any Chief Architect/Home Designer product. You can copy/paste walls that form rooms. The more expensive products have tools to facilitate this.
DJAurand
Yes I can Copy and Paste a Room or Rooms with HD Architectural, including the furniture & fixtures Edit / Edit Area / Select Area/Room / Click Copy then put Crosshair where you want the Area/Room Pasted and Click the Mouse I copied 2 Hotel Rooms at a time (adjoining Left & Right rooms) repeatedly and it saved a lot of time
