DesignerPro2020
Hi folks, new user here. I have Home Designer Pro 2020 and I am trying to display wall dimensions on an Orthographic Framing view. I have played with the layers and turned the Auto dimensions and Manual dimension on/off, no luck. I do notice the Dimension button is grayed out, so you cant add dimensions manually. Any suggestions? Really just looking for a framing view I can hand a carpenter to build this wall. Thanks, Joe
solver
What does your carpenter need to know to build that wall? The Home Designer products lack the ability to easily dimension framing.
DesignerPro2020
Header is x long for each window, header height, window height, window height from ground. Would be nice to have the horizontal dimensions too.
DesignerPro2020
In plan view, the manual dimensions go from rough wall length to actual window size. This is confusing to see a rough framing dimension next to actual door/window size. For example, when I put a 24" window, the dimension show 24". The window object has default rough in space that should be added to that 24". Is there any way to put the rough dimension in the plan view?
