CGDesign
I have imported a 4 panel sliding window for a kitchen pass-through but it never gave me the option to save it as a window. It will not let me place it into the wall. Does Home Designer have the capability to import as a window, door, or cabinet like Chief Architect does? solver
You can't use those as windows, just as a generic symbol. You can possibly create an opening in the wall using a pass-through, then place your window symbol within it.
CGDesign
Thanks! That's a good ideal, I will try that. So it looks like the answer is you can't import a 3d symbol into Home Designer and designate it a window or door like you can in Chief Architect.
