Eric322 Posted August 15, 2019 Share Posted August 15, 2019 Hi, i am trying to build gable roof on this design at the balcony, but when I click auto gable roof button, system didn't do any change at all. After I use manual gable roof line, it eventually gave me the gable roof, but there is still an error happen, see attached photo, above the ceiling of the balcony, there is actually no wall from the ceiling to the roof, it is open and see through to the roof. why my auto gable roof button not work? and why system didn't create the wall above the ceiling to the roof? I am using Home designer pro 2020 In your posted image I see a gable where one would expect to see a gable roof, If you do not have a structural wall under such a gable you often must draw such a wall manually on the Attic <A> floor level.
