Creating a Cathedral ceiling in a room with wall partitions

Hi - Im only a novice user - but using under room specification the Use Soffit Surfaces for Ceiling - works for me in the past;

Then I go to Build\Framingf\Floor/Ceiling Beam - insert on plan; then adjust height position and dimensional preferences you like;

Likewise with post of the truss arrangement.

An image of a quick solution below; Not sure if this is what you want - colours can be painted to suit.

There are people here who know allot more shortcuts than me.
