ta2four
Hi, HD Pro 2014. I'm building a 30'x50' garage/workshop with an interior wall to separate the building into two rooms. I want a 12" stem wall around each room so that I can wash out the rooms with a pressure washer without soaking the walls. When I add the interior wall it doesn't go to the slab; instead it hangs on the stem wall. I tried changing the wall type to be a foundation wall, which seemed to help but the wall still doesn't reach the slab. Also the door in the internal wall doesn't break the foundation part of the wall. See attached Plan. Thanks, Tim Workshop 2016_2.plan
ta2four
Thanks Eric. I tried what you suggested... using a pony wall with the bottom concrete... and I got pretty much the same result. The bottom of the concrete wall sits on top of the outer stem wall. So, there most be some other subtle change that I'm missing. Incidentally, I indicated that I was using HD Pro version 2014 in the first line of my post. Tim Home Designer Pro 2014
solver
I'm not able to reproduce your problem, but I'm not using the same version either. Try taking an elevation of the problem wall. Select the wall and drag the bottom down as needed.
