Home designer Pro OSX problem placing toilets

Recommended Posts

I am using Home designer pro 2017 with mac osx.

I am trying to revise a set of plans and create a powder room.  I am unable to select existing fixtures even though they are not locked.  I am also unable to place toilets even though they are in the library.

please any help would be appreciated.

Please post the plan file.

It helps if we know what title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2014, 2015 etc) you are using. You can add this info to your signature by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click My Settings, then Signature on the left.

I updated the first post to include that it is the 2017 version.  Pro.

Here is the file I am having issues with.

Got it figured out.  The plan was created with Chief Architect pro and was never marked as editable.

Thanks for the heads up

What is this all about?

Do you mean Home Designer Pro in the last post? ( Chief Architect Pro reference)

'Marked as editable' what does that all mean?

Not familiar with this....

If a plan was drawn in Chief Architect it cannot be edited in any HD products unless it is selected to do so in CA.
