y-g-m-n Posted October 20 Share Posted October 20 either take what you have and edit those roof planes and maybe add some or you have to go over each wall and set the roof type Gable or hip. Then maybe add gable lines over portions of wall so then the entire wall is not gable just say a middle section. Might have to adjust wall/room heights for that front funky dormer. Garybills Posted October 20 Share Posted October 20 Here is one way. I used auto Roofs with the front porch marked no roof. I turned off auto rebuild roofs and raised the middle gable and the middle section of the main roof Planes 36", then built the porch roof on 3/12 pitch. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Doug_Morrison Posted October 21 Author Share Posted October 21 I spent the whole evening unsuccessfully trying to figure this out. Learned tons of news things about using the Transform/Replicate tool to move Roof Planes up & down in the Z-axis but can’t figure out how to get away from a hip roof to a shed roof with siding on the side?
