  1. I think that camera navigation changed in the newer version. Takes some getting used to when you're used to the old method, but I'm not getting the crazy stretching effects that I used to because the camera didn't move in the earlier version.

  2. I agree with LawB.  Some third party symbols just aren't well designed or have really high surface counts.  Between the Core, Bonus, and Manufacturer catalogs, there's really only a handful of extra things that I have had to import and keep in my User Catalog.

  3. Just use a Closed box shape from the Library Browser resized and moved up against the wall.  Probably want to use the same Tile material applied to the wall as a "Stretch to Fit" material on the box.

  4. To rephrase what David is suggesting, there are Shapes in the Library Browser, including a Closed box shape and a Cylinder.  You can resize them and change their materials so they look like the rest of the deck framing.

  5. If you have a copy of your plan and an image of the kind of roof you want, we can probably offer some pointers on how to create something pretty darned close in Suite.

I believe David's statement that there is no difference between Pro and Premier with regards to roofs is inaccurate.

For one, I know that curved roofs aren't in Pro, but they are in Premier.  It's been quite a while since I looked at the trial version for Premier, but I believe there are a number of other differences as well.

Update - Just checked, yep, there are a bunch of panels not even in Build Roof with Pro in regards to rafter tails, fascia, gutters, shadow boards, the arrow that exist in Premier.  There's also Roof Layers in Premier.  Probably other things too.
