  1. Like Elovia said you will have to manually adjust...mainly the stairs if you want the room(s) to stay the same size.

You don't have to extend the vertical wall, just the horizonal one

If you build a wall it's gonna be the same as extending it.

If you use a shape, you will also need a soffit to cover the bottom.

  2. I'm trying to figure out what's was problem....  2 doors were shown, one with the casing, one without, if don't want the space from the door to the driveway, you change the swing side.

I downloaded SketchUp and rotated it but when I try to import it, it says it was created in an incompatible software version.  Do I have to purchase SketchUp Pro?

    Thanks

    Alan

No,  When you 'save as' in Skecthup you have to select which version ie: 2015, 2014 etc: Use the drop down list.

Any version you "save as" will work in HD

  4. Once you get the roof to how you want it, you turn off auto rebuild. You have stuff in the attic that should not be there. The 1st floor ceiling heights are what's

    causing the problems.

  5. Sailor,

You have been shown and told how to fix the problems, go back and read you're posts.

You still have different ceiling heights on the 1st floor, Invisable walls etc.

    rename the Porch and Slab

  6. Did you try changing the ceiling heights by clicking Edit>default settings? What I have learned is that if you can't change the ceiling heights individually for a floor, the walls above it are not aligned or have different ceiling heights,

You would have to disconnect the wall(s) above and then change the heights for the floor below.
