hcarroll
I have Architectural 2021 - I used to upgrade about every other year, but I haven't upgraded since I switched over to Ubuntu in 2021. I've tried a number of times to get HD to run via Wine. The program will open, update, and show the UI normally, but as soon as I try to draw a wall or place any object, the program locks up and I get the following error: C:\p4sync\dev\Releases\22\chief\CACommon\Error\ArtException.cpp(146): Error #272000009 "A serious error occurred (SEH). Please contact Chief Architect Technical Support with steps to reproduce." Has anyone found a workaround? Alternatively, is anyone successfully running a newer version through Wine? I'd be happy to upgrade if I knew it would work. Thanks!
scottharris
You could download a new Trial version and see if that works.
