I have a plan that has an entry that is technically @ +6", main floor is @ 0", then (2) rooms at -6", followed by a Living room @ -12". I tried using the main floor at 0" and bumped each room either up or down as needed but this resulted in the stemwall foundation being sticking out into the room in the -12" room. So I designated the the Entry as 0" and bumped every room in the house down -6", then took an extra 6" from the other rooms that went down to lower levels & rebuilt the foundation. Everything looks fine as far as levels go but the stemwall concrete finish is now in the room at the lower floor levels. Is there aa more effective way to get the multi level floor working as it should?

Thanks, Keith

ps. havent even started to figure how to add the missing 6" step down

have you tried setting 0 at the lowest floor level and then inside each room definition for those raised rooms to raise the floor?

YOu are using a monolithic CONCRETE SLAB foundation right?

Software loves stem walls to Zero level even for lowered rooms and garages.
