I have the home designer architectural software i purchase a couple of months back

How do i get vaulted ceilings over my kitchen/Living room area

i have tried different roofs etc. but i think it may be in my design. right now i just defaulted back to hip roofs

any suggestions

Turn off "flat ceiling over this room" in the room defaults drop down box.  Can always look at the reference manual for other solutions to different things.
