Janetcrouch Posted yesterday at 07:55 PM Share Posted yesterday at 07:55 PM I don't know what I need to adjust. Every time I mark "Use Soffit Surface for Ceiling" and uncheck :Flat Ceiling Over This Room", I get this gap between where the ceiling drywall is and the wall drywall. My OSB is showing! Please tell me what else I need to change to close the gap!
Rookie65 Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM Share Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM Try not checking soffit surface for ceiling. The material you select for the ceiling will follow the rafters.

Rookie65 Posted yesterday at 08:10 PM Share Posted yesterday at 08:10 PM Did you rebuild it?
Janetcrouch Posted yesterday at 08:20 PM Author Share Posted yesterday at 08:20 PM I clicked and unclicked the auto rebuild roof. I am wondering if my problem is that I only drew the kitchen and 3 of the walls are interior, not exterior. I am only working on the kitchen for this house, so I did not want to take the time to draw more of it. I think that's the problem. I will just draw any walls around the kitchen and hopefully that will fix it. Thanks!
Janetcrouch Posted yesterday at 08:24 PM Author Share Posted yesterday at 08:24 PM That was it. Rookie65 Keith, you helped me think it through.
Rookie65 Posted yesterday at 08:31 PM Share Posted yesterday at 08:31 PM Whenever I have to draw a "room only" plan, I'll always draw an exterior perimeter, then draw the interior walls as needed. It helps keep the doors, etc. The correct type, ie interior. It should help with the roof.
