dataRunner
Hi I need to create a radiant floor plan. I'll have various sizes of sheets of plywood and each plywood type needs to have a different cut out pattern. I have created a rectangular 3/4" plywood sheet, and can add this to the library, but I can not figure out how to use the polyline tool to 'cut' the layout pattern. I want to be able to have each plywood design in the library so I can drag and drop them into place, and when I do a materials list it shows me the quantity of each type. Additionally I'd like to be able to change the size of these and have it 'cut' the wood. So for example if a 8' sheet has 8 loops on it, if I change it to only 4' wide it should now only have 4 loops on it. Please help. Thank you, Jennifer
y-g-m-n
not sure this software is setup to do what you want without making each sheet individually. Normally in floor heating uses a plastic panel with "PEGS" sticking up and grooves on all 4 sides. Schluter®-BEKOTEC | Modular Screed Systems | Schluter You glue it down and then lay floor heating piping in it. Reason for pegs is you can install in whatever pattern you want. Old days they had a special plank with aluminum on top for piping to snap into and plywood glued to back. very pricey and labor intensive. I suggest googling it to see what is available and best for your project this plywood thing would be expensive as you have to pay someone to machine groove and it has tobe thick enough for tubing to be below top.
