Baandit
Has anyone shared .plan files with a collaborator? is there something within Home Design Pro 2025 that lets you share to the cloud? I know I can email etc. but I'd like a true collaboration method between someone else on another computer and network where we share multiple files back and forth. Rookie65
Email is the only way I can think of. Since only one person at a time can work on a plan.
Baandit
I was hoping there were something in HD Pro but I’m going to try a software called “Sync” which allows two (or more) people to update a file (not at the same time) and keeps version history (or so I’m led to believe). I’ll post how it did after I’ve had a chance to test it out.
Rookie65
Seems to me that you're looking to make it more of a process than it needs to be. Once a file is saved, the previous history is gone. Might work better if you start the plan, then when you send it to someone else, they save it as ".plan-1" and so on in sequence. That way the previous editor will have the historical files if they save them and then they can be edited. My feeling is that another program that isn't home designer isn't going to be good at saving a home designer file?
