Adding a Gull Wing Roof plane over a Deck

Hello,

Does anyone have experience adding a Gull Wing roof plane (CA Term) over a deck such that it ties into the two perpendicular Gable Roof planes? See Pic.

Thank you for your reply. So, to complete the gull wing around the 90 deg turn, I need to have a gull wing on the adjacent perpendicular gable roof, correct? 

 

Other than a costly hip roof, is this the only other solution to cover the deck?
