mdag28 Posted August 21, 2023 Share Posted August 21, 2023 I have an electronic PDF of a house plan that I want to recreate in Home Designer. The PDF consists of a foundation plan and a first floor plan. The foundation plan looked the easiest to trace so I started there. However, it appears that after tracing the foundation plan it doesn't automatically make walls on the first floor. Should I redo this and trace the first floor plan or is there a way to get the first floor to produce? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Solution Rookie65 Posted August 21, 2023 Solution Share Posted August 21, 2023 You'll want to do the 1st floor first with auto-rebuild foundation on. Or if it's too much to start over, make sure the foundation is on floor 0 and turn off auto rebuild foundation. Then you can trace over your foundation on floor 1 with the wall type you need.
