MikeGruby
How do I "cloud" parts of a plan that have been revised and mark them as "Delta 1, 2, etc"? Professional plans when revised always mark the changes this way.
Kbird1
Buy Professional Software ? kidding...... - Use Text with Arrow and CAD Arcs --pretty easy if all you need is this..... or other options ( not as easy) : - Rectangular Polyline turned into arcs with CAD arc tools/breakline tool - Curved Splines? katalyst777
I think the Premier version has an actual Revision Cloud tool (it's been a while since I looked at the trial version), but Mick's suggestion should work out just fine in the Home Designer versions. Kbird1
Yes Chief, has a Revision Cloud in the CAD Menu. The CAD ARC method works easily , though now I think of it it may make it more difficult to select other items , so do it after everything is done or possibly turn off the CAD layer in Display Options so you cant select the Cloud by accident --this may have side effect too if you have other CAD items in the same vicinity.... RobertAS25me
Does Chief Architect have a tool that will automatically put the delta on after you make your revisions the Planning Dept. required?
katalyst777
Not automatic, but if you're on Windows, then you can use the Character Map to Copy the Delta Δ from a font that has it and then Paste it into Text in Home Designer. Character Map on Mac does the same type of thing but is harder to search.
Northriver
This must be something unique to your area or state. I have never seen the delta sign used on a set of drawings nor have I seen delta in the AIA specifications relating to revisions. I have seen R 1 or REV 1 that corresponds to a revision table that contains a date, revision number, page number, the initials of who did it and an explanation of why the revision was necessary.
