RadioRod
Hi All, I’m trying to create a fairly common staircase, but I’m struggling with it. the stairs rise up from the ground floor in a rectangular stairwell and at the top they turn through 90 degrees joining the first floor landing. There is no landing where the stairs change direction, the treads are ‘triangular’ shaped and follow the constraints of the stairwell. Help appreciated. Rookie65
Take a look at your reference manual on how to create winder treads.
RadioRod
Thanks Keith, you’ve pointed me in the right direction, I’m definitely looking for Winders. However, problem. The Suite 2019 reference manual states in its index that there is a definition of Winders on page 311, but there is no mention of them on that page or anywhere else in the manual! There is a picture of a staircase with winders on page 325, part of an example of how to create a room under the stairs. The example just states “Draw a staircase”, but doesn’t show you how to draw the one in the example with winders. Am I missing something or is it not possible to create winders in Suite 2019 and the example is a copy and paste error from the Pro manual? Rookie65
I don't know, as I have never used Suite. Another option could be to draw them as individual landings at the needed heights to complete the look.
RadioRod
Thanks for your thoughts Keith, I'll have a go with landings as you suggest.
