ElkRivers
Hello- I use HD Pro 2018 and CA X8. It's frustrating that I can't use any of those to open a 2019 Suite .plan file. I just tried to load a friend's copy of Suite 2019 so I could help him finish up a house plan he'd started. I didn't get as far as getting him to deactivate so I could activate, but while I was waiting, I tried to open my Pro 2018 and it wouldn't open. I had to uninstall Suite. Is there any way to run both of them on my computer? Evidently my computer didn't like having both of them... Thanks.
DavidJPotter
I have on my PC Chief Architect Premier versions 7-20 and Home Designer Pro, Architectural, Suite and Essentials 2019. All run just fine. The older versions of Chief I run on a hard drive that runs Windows XP x32, the rest run on Windows 10 x64. You have not said what operating system you have, so I find it hard to understand what your problem is. DJP
ElkRivers
David- I use a Mac OS Sierra w/ 2.5 GHz Intel core i5. For some reason it wouldn't open HD Pro until I uninstalled HD Suite; now HD Pro is running fine again with no Suite installed..
