Piece on Roof and Piece Missing on the Wall

For the life of me I can not figure out what is going on. I have a building that is a 1 story cabin with a attic loft.

1) For some reason when I remove the floor down below I was getting a I-joist that joist that would appear coming through the wall on the right side. I went into the framing editor and removed it. I however now have the piece of wood on the roof that I can't figure out how to get rid of. Any ideas?

 

2) Inside I have a missing piece of drywall. I can't seem to figure out a way to get it to fill in. Any ideas on this one?

Do you have the automatic roof on; have you edited the wall top?
