Do Default Setting Save if you "File Save As"

Hello;

 

Default settings are file specific. If you save a file, then open it and "save as ..." do the default settings save with the new save as file, or do the default setting revert to the original program default settings?

They save as whatever the last settings were for the file you are using. That's why I , and probably most others, keep a "master plan" to start all new projects from. You set up a master and change all of the defaults to what you want them to be. Whether it's geographic preferences for doors, trim, etc.That way, you don't have to change everything for each new plan you start.
