try what lol didnt see any response another question though , how do i set the end of a rectanlge to a perfect 45 degree angle ?? i am trying to get EXACT LOCATIONS FOR FRAMING . Used a polyline and broke lines at points of the deck , i want framing and cuts on deck boards to be EXACT . THE MATH IS ONE PART BUT I FEEL OR BELIEVE I SHOULD BE ABLE TO KNOW THESE CUTS WITH CAD TOOLS , CAN I ?? I CAN ONLY GET THE TRANSFORM REPLICATE TOOL TO WORK FROM SOUTH TO NORTH

H D pro 2017 i am using the transform replicate tool to check the framing dimensions for a deck . If i draw a sq with rough dimensions of the the deck , i would like to start the decking at the sliding door ( North ) and replicate them heading south , can this be done & if so how ? ! am assuming i would use the y axis and input the board width 5 9/16 and input the copy amount

i started the boards from south to north ( north being the house wall ) so 5 7/16 with the 1/8 in front of that board . Anyway to do this without decimals

i really would rather decrease the size of the deck in length . Is there a way to figure this without using decimals ??

Hi everyone going a little brain dead here i am trying to get deck boards to work out perfectly by math . deck board measures 5 7/16 " + 1/8 " space = 5 9/16 if the rough deck dim. is 14 ' divided by 5 9/16 = 30.20 how do i convert .20 into a fraction of an inch ?? what does 1/5 represent ?? not sure i am right but i came up with 3/16 of an inch so 30 X 5 9/16 " = 166 7/8 + 3/16" = 167 1/16 / convert to feet is 13'11 1/16 correct ???

DECK TEST.plan 2017 hpro what are the advantages of blocking items ? i see when i block them together i loose the square dotted lines around the item i also would like to make these items one unit so i can move all the componets as1 unit is that possible an if so how

i would like to show the bolt patterns and joist hangars on a legar board so joists and hangar dont interfer with each other. Possibly have a legnd showing the connectors with pictures of them for workers to pick them up show post to beam connections , joist to beams , stair stringer connections in the simpson deck connection and fastening guide page 7 they show a deck with all these connectios can i duplicate that in home pro i know this might be overkill but all the preplanning is why i love these programs !! what are your hourly rates ?
