  1. After i download a library like wayfair /azek can i save / organize them to a file on my computer? After i do that can i delete the file in the download section being it is in the program ??

  3. yes it is what we are talking about I am trying to make a custom stair tread for a deck stairs . the spelling is a computer error lmao THANKS ERIC !!!!! i figured it out sometimes things are so simple !! 1 - use custom countertop tool 2 - draw & edit ( always watch those little red handles ) set all defaults 3 - for wood grains - break edges as required to make wd grains look more realistic , might req. more sections for wd grains I dont know what i did wrong with the plan , you cant open it ? SO IF CHIEF PREMIER THE MOULDING would be easier ?
  4. i really dont understand this how do i get the green & grey lines , do the colors appear when you break lines ?? I found the stretch to fit area . Would step by step be asking to much ?? I hope not

  6. double check moulding heights & cabinet heights , it appears like the cabinets might be to high , i see them above the wall line
  7. There are options in the stair defaults to do what you are asking .I dont remeber where i seen them though

  9. NOW YOU ARE REALLY TESTING ME ERIC LMAO I was just going to try to do that i managed to get it to work i was using 3 seperate pieces , instead of using the break line tool . Now i have issues with the wood grain lmao !!!! Can i send the picture right from that drawing , or send the whole plan ?? And if so how
  10. I found it When you want to create a block for some items hold the shift key down & drag a square ( MARQUE ) around those items , You should see the aritectural block icon ( blue & red BOX ) in the bottom edit tool bar .
  11. i tried using the custom countertop tool , that seems to work well . However when i look at the drawing in plan view i notice some sides have a line that follows the 45 degree angle & some others do not . The ones that have the continuos line do show the miters being connected & the ones that dont have the continuos show the miters meeting correct Anything thoughts as to what i might be doing wrong ? Does where i click with the red handles have anything to do with it ?

I believe it shows up in certain views Try searching architectural blocks in the search area @ the top of the screen under your user name .Also fill out your signature card PLEASE IT HELPS SO MUCH TO KNOW WHAT VERSION & PROGRAM YOU ARE USING .Click on your name go to account settings , on the left side of the screen click on signature . you will see another window like an e mail type your info in there
  13. THANKS THE LEARNING CURVE CAN BE EXHAUSTING LOL I just tried it with a slab , There are so many ways to do the same things !!! now i cant find where to change grain direction on the stair stringers , any thoughts ??
  14. if i set my stair thread overhang to ( 0" ) on left & right & change the thread depth , can i make a slab with nosing ? in a cross sec. you would see the slab being 1/16" thick & the nosing would be edited in cad to show a 1 " radius on the front edge ?

  16. thanks for the quick reply !! i got it to work having an issue with the left & right returns , the grain is going opposite was just getting lazy lol & tired of reading :(now i have to figure out how to fix the grain on the stair stringers . god i love this program
  17. i would like to apply a wood grain to a deck board 5 1/2" wide by 42" , i want the grain to be running the length of the board 42 " . i cant come up with any soulutions to this i am using it on stair threads to lay on top of the existing stair thread ( 1/16" thick ) miter ( 45 degree ) on each end & have returns on the left & right side from the thread nosing to the next riser . i can figure out how to make these 3 items just cant get the grain to follow Help please

    2018 UPGRADE

    For anyone interested I feel the up grade from 2017 to 2018 is well worth the $99.00 !!!! The stair features are great !!! I feel they will make drawings on decks alot more realistic !!! changing the top & bottom rails to azek componets works very realistics !!!! once agAin THANK YOU SOLVER & DAVE POTTER !! AT 62 YEARS OLD THE LAST TIME WAS THIS EXCITED WAS WHEN I SEEN MY FIRST COPY OF PENTHOUSE MAGAZINE LMAO

  23. yes i only need to see it in a plan view not 3d .it is for hole alignment relative to the joist & other blocking getting in the way . Lag bolts can be used on 3 holes but one carriage bolt would also be nice ! I need to have these items blocked together ( the sq & the 4 holes ) put into library & use it at all diffrent locations in plan view
  24. I am trying to make a metal plate ( 3 1/2" square ) with 4 holes for a deck post . i want it to be transparent ( transparent wont highlight ) so i can see where the holes will line up with framing & joist .Once i make the sq with the 4 holes how do i block them togther to move them as a unit ?
