THANKS....
I HAVE ATTACHED A LINK VIA GOOGLE DRIVE FOR THE FILE... IT IS MUCH TOO LARGE TO SEND - EVEN THE ZIP FILE IS 18MB - IT STARTS LAGGING WHEN I TRY AND ATTACH.
THERE IS NO WAY TO ADD UNDER CABINET LIGHTING IN THE HOME DESIGNER PRO - I SEARCHED FOR THIS YESTERDAY TO NO AVAIL.
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO CHANGE THE FOOT CANDLES
I ADDED 8 - 6 INCH LIGHTS AT 1200 LUMENS EACH TO TRY AND PROVIDE ENOUGH LIGHTING
IN THE VIEW IN KITCHEN
THANKS FOR LOOKING AT THIS FILE - I ZIPPED IT AND UPLOADED IT TO GOOGLE DRIVE

OK - HERE IS MY FIRST PBR RENDER AND SOMETHING IS NOT QUITE RIGHT
TAKE A LOOK AT MY FILES AND TELL ME IF THIS IS THE BEST THAT I CAN HAVE WITHOUT A NATURAL SUNLIGHT COMING INTO THIS CONDO
THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK
I USED ALL OF THE TECHNIQUES THAT WERE SHARED IN FORUM FOR THE PBR AND THIS IS THE BEST THAT HAPPENS
THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK

I do a lot of condos where the kitchen does not have much natural light if any..
The PBR is definitely something that has a learning curve as I am finding out..
Thanks for sharing your beautiful designs.

OMG.. I just upgraded to 2020.
I absolutely love it..
It has an entirely different look and feel.
I know that it is not Chief Architect X11 - But it is really remarkably better..in how it renders and the overall feel of the cameras.
I really love it...
One day, I will justify upgrading to the full Chief Architect... but for now, I am really happy with the improvements they have made to Home Designer Pro.
Thanks again everyone for sharing your wonderful words on PBR.. if you would not have done this, I do not think that I would have thought about the upgrade as closely...

- Zachary Your pics look great... I am in awe of the design... Question.. Why does the kitchen look so dark. It is amazing what you have done. It just looks dark. I am curious is this what you were going for? Or does the new program not have more lights in a kitchen? I plan on upgrading to the new 2020 soon.
- Thanks for sharing these amazing renders and designs.

Hi Everyone
I see that there is a new version of Home Designer Pro 2020
I would like to know your thoughts on this if you have upgraded from a prior version of Home Designer Pro.
I am using Home Designer Pro 2019
The Physical Based Rendering technique is what interests me the most..
Just curious if it is worth the $495 again for me for the new version.
Thanks for your feedback on the Home Designer Pro 2020
I have a Windows PC -
Invidia Graphics Card -

Hi all,
I need to know what resolution size should an image be if importing the image into the home designer pro file?
I have no issues with the import.. just the quality of the image, after the import and when the file is printed...
Thanks for any advice on this if you have been successful at this.
Thanks

Hi everyone,
I have created a drop in bath tub and want to create a frameless shower door
I followed the tutorial on creating the drop in tub and now have difficulty getting a frameless shower door to be placed on the deck that was built to house the drop in tub.
Any help would be most appreciated
Note: I tried using a half wall and it would not work.. I tried using a full wall and it did not work
I need the glass door to sit on top of the surround
Thanks

thanks for the responses...
I have marked up the first diagram that I sent and put my questions on it...
basically, I want to know how to make this drawing..
I have tried and my dimensions look nothing like this one..
Joann
I have followed the link you sent … before I sent the first question...
something is missing in my program..
I can't make my elevation dimensions look like the one in the demo..
I know that it must be something that I need to turn on... but I do not know what it is..
Thanks for any advice..

I ALSO WATCHED all the videos on home designer pro for dimensions...
I also watched the ones for chief architect.. the chief architect has a button layout for NKBA.. I get that..
But I see from the sample plan I sent earlier, I should be able to do this in home designer pro.. not as simple as chief architect.. But I can still get a look for the dimensions that I am looking for..
I HAVE LOOKED ONLINE UNDER SUPPORT REFERENCE AND THEY SHOW SOMETHING FROM 2014.. IT DOES NOT TRANSLATE OVER FOR ME.. THERE IS SOMETHING THAT I AM MISSING..
I WENT TO THE 3D AND CREATE ORTHOGRAPHIC VIEW AND WALL ELEVATION
I WENT TO CAD -
THEN TO DIMENSIONS...
THERE SEEMS TO BE NOTHING THAT SHOWS HOW TO GET THOSE DIMENSIONS AND HASH MARKS LIKE ON THE SAMLE PLAN WHEN USING HOME DESIGNER PRO
I HAVE CHANGED THE UNITS IN DIMENSION DEFAULTS AREA TOO
I KNOW THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS NOT HARD.. I JJST DO NOT KNOW WHAT STEPS I AM MISSING
THANKS IN ADVANCE

PER YOUR LINK I NEED 431 FC
48272 LUMENS
I THINK THAT YOU ARE CORRECT THAT I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH LIGHTS BECAUSE I HAVE 8 AT 1200 EACH = 9600 LUMENS
I TYPICALLY USE 8 RECESSED LIGHTS IN A KITCHEN AND UNDER CABINET LIGHTING - IN THE PHYSICAL SPACE - I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TOADD UNDERCABINET LIGHTING IN HOME DESIGNER PRO
THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT THE FILE.
