  1. Hi, I realize it's been years since this was posted, but I'm looking for a scale exactly like the one Solver posted May 20, 2019. I downloaded and installed it to my library but I can't use it with Home Designer Pro (I get an error that it can't be used with this version). Any thoughts on where I can find a scale as such? Thanks for your help, as always! -Paul
  2. I think I got it. Thank you! It was a little wonky at first, but I think I figured out the height issues so that I have something that looks like your example. Thanks so much for your help!
  3. Hi, I'm still struggling to make this work. Is there somewhere I can see a visual step-by-step of how to complete this task? Thank you! -Paul
  4. I'm hoping to just model the garage area, without doing any of the other house (As it's not needed). I will do what you just suggested; build a second floor and drop the garage ceiling down. At this point, I'm just trying to get this done easily. I can draw it on paper faster, but I lose all of the other functionality of having a model I can move around and update quickly. Thank you for the suggestion!
  5. Thanks for the tip, Eric. I updated my signature and made sure it was turned on. Hopefully that improves things. The reason I posted here is because I couldn't find a direct answer on here (maybe I missed it?) or on other platforms such as YouTube.
  6. Hi! I need to be able to create a raised floor in a garage. The garage is being turned into a Mother-In-Law suite/Apartment. Basically, footings and beams supporting joists for a floor, but still showing the garage floor. This is to raise the floor up to the first-floor door height. I need to show the crawl space that will be created between the garage floor slab and the new raised floor. I can't figure out how this is done. I've tried to do it with the deck tools, but can't make it show up once I make the railings invisible. I've also tried doing it with the framing tools, but can't figure out how to make that work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
