  1. ok here it is without anything extra basic with no contents PDF final drawing sept 2020.zip
  2. yes Jo_Ann there are several issues, I've not perfected the program, AND FAR from it. I bought the software and I had to use it quickly as we had already broken ground. I have been able to whip it together pretty quickly. I'm quite happy with the short time I put it together. The roof is defiantly not correct and ceiling heights as well no doubt. Our builder has 9ft ceiling at the parameter going to 10ft.and the vaulted in the living area. That is way over my head as is the funky roofline. butt......Thank you for your help Eric, I believe I attached the plan correctly, I will review the terrain info. I do appreciate your time JoAnn plan to export.dwg
  3. I should have also 4 or 5 steps to our sliding door from the patio
  4. I have about a -48 (guessing) at the back of the house along the fence line. Its a drainage easement. At the back wall of the house I have about a -24? its kind of steep. In the front of the house I should have about 3 steps to the front porch so maybe around ??? zero??? When I think I know what I'm doing and give it another try......then everything starts to crumble, like the patio, the drive way ect. I've walked away from it several times frustrated. I appricate any helpful advise. Jo
  5. I do not understand how to change the elevations
  6. I have Home Designer Architectural 2021, my house is mostly done on the software but my elevations are off quite a bit. How do I make those changes now? I'm trying to decide on patio or deck options and it just wont look the same without correct elevations. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you JoAnn
  7. DIG5050 I found a error and the architect had to make changes on our plans. I tried to import the new plan again but of course is does not match up. Do you know if there is a trick to getting it to match up with my design. I do not want to redraw it
  8. Could someone tell me, I imported the PDF drawing of our plans we received back from our Architect. I then drew over that plan to capture all of his changes. This worked awesome! Is there a way to now remove that image and just have my drawing? Reason being I have the measurements from the imported image and also the measurements from what I drew. its quite busy, just trying to clean it up a bit now. Home Designer, Architectural 2021 Thank you
  9. I will review the links provided. I had read " the options under File>Import" and I didn't really find it very helpful. Thank you for your help

  11. Thank you, sorry I guess I didnt make it as clear as I thought I had. I added, Home Designer, Architectural (2021) to my signature.
  12. I created a house plan in my HomeDesigner Chief Architect 2021 and sent the basic plan to my builders Architect for adjustments and corrections. He will be sending it back to me soon as both a dwg and a pdf. What is the process or is there a process to import his finished design back into my program? I want to be able to build on his finished plan. Or do I have to totally correct each line, each cabinet ect ect when its sent back to me? The roof was kicking my butt so I was hoping his roof would also correct my issue. If I can ask a second question? I have a irregular lot on a curve and drawing it has been impossible, for me. Is there a easier way to bring the lot in besides drawing by measurements? Also elevations? Thank you. JoAnn I've only had this program for a couple weeks. I'm hoping to perfect using it!!!!
  13. You are miles ahead of me, I'm still just learning the terminology. I have my house plan drawn but when I started making changes on the roof I started to loose my mind. Im on a bit of a time crunch so I'm hoping to learn from other comments on this tread. this is only day 2 for me. So far I'm loving the program Thank you, Jo
