AndrewDone Posted October 21, 2023 Share Posted October 21, 2023 Hi all, I've had some success with modelling my house in home designer, but am stuck with how best to handle our garage, which is both detached and lower than the main house (I have attached the plan, which hopefully illustrates the problem). I have tried putting it on floor 1 (thinking it would be with the rest of the terrain) and floor 0, but both end up with the garage floating 6 metres in the air. I would greatly appreciate if someone with more experience might suggest how they would approach this problem. I have also uploaded the model up to where I'm at, if that's useful, but really I'm just looking for a steer. Thanks in advance. Best, Andrew. CarrieS Posted October 23, 2023 Share Posted October 23, 2023 Hi Andrew, It looks like you need to lower the elevation of your garage using the Floor and Ceiling Heights of the Garage. You'll need to do this for both the 0 level and the 1st level.
