OrSkier Posted January 4, 2023 Share Posted January 4, 2023 I understand the concept of the origin (0,0) and positioning objects relative to it. What is confusing me is is that on a layout sheet the origin is off the edge of the sheet. Intuitively I expected it to be at the lower-left corner of the sheet, so if I were to position an object using absolute coordinates on an 18" x 24" layout, 9", 12" would put the object at the center of the sheet. But it doesn't work this way - the position of the origin seems kind of random in relation to the edge of the sheet. Can someone help me understand this?
